Eibofobie

Eibophobia is a funny term to indicate a phobia for palindromes. The word itself is also a palindrome. Eibophobia does not exist in reality. Logically, someone who is suffering from eibopobia is a boozer and is hcsibophobic. A scientist studying palindromen is called a gool eye, he is doing his own.

The first member of the composition eibo (f) actually means nothing; It's simply the reverse of (f) obie. Phobia is derived from the Greek φόβος phóbos which means fear / fear.

The term also exists in English (aibohphobia) and French (eibohphobia). The English term would appear for the first time in the strip The Wizard of Id by Brant Parker and Johnny Hart. Whether the Dutch word is derived or originated from English is not clear.
