Menceyatos of Tenerife

Menceyato de Abona was one of nine territorial Guanche settlements where the island of Tenerife was divided to the Canary Islands at the time of the conquest of the Crown of Castile in the fifteenth century.

It was located southeast of the island. It occupied the municipalities of Fasnia, Arico, Granadilla of Abona, San Miguel de Abona, Vilaflor and part of Arona.
