Namyang City (남양) is a community of workers ("Rodongjagu") located in the far north of North Korea in the district of Onsong, North Hamgyong Province. Located on the banks of the Tumen River at an altitude of 39 meters, it faces the Chinese city of Tumen. Its population is estimated at 65,956 inhabitants. It is connected with the city of Tumen by an open bridge for freight trains. With the city of Sinuiju, it is one of the few crossing points to China.
