In 1870, a train that crosses Arizona is assaulted. The thieves take a shipment of gold and a valuable sword that the Japanese ambassador brought as a gift to the president. Now the ambassador's bodyguard (a samurai named Kuroda) must join forces with one of the thieves, betrayed by the rest of the band. And they will have to find the sword in a week, a deadline set by Kuroda for hara-kiri.
