Enten was a god of Sumerian mythology. God the farmer and mythological farmer of ancient Mesopotamia, Enten, and was the field worker and shepherd of Enlil, as he had specific responsibility for the fertility of sheep, goats, cows, donkeys, birds and other animals. He fights with his brother Emesh (the god of vegetation), and makes a request to Enki, he believed he deserved to be "the patron or god of all farmers" or "farmer of the gods." Enlil judges the claim, and makes arrangements for both to reconcile with Emesh.
