The loin to the poor is a dish of Peruvian cuisine, which is served with a large bisteck that is accompanied by one, or several fried eggs. Served with rice, fried plantains, french fries, onion salad, tomato. It is a dish that is served as a lunch and not as breakfast as is the case with other similar dishes.
There are several possible origins of the term "a lo pobre", the most accepted is that it was named for the mischief of the Peruvian Society in the nineteenth century to name a dish with abundant ingredients. It is currently consumed in restaurants of all kinds and has become popular on the South American Pacific coast.
