Ma Baker was a song performed by the disco group Boney M in 1977. The song refers to the legendary criminal of the 1930s Kate "Ma" Barker, but the lyrics of the song are not true. The melody is adapted from a Tunisian folk song, Sidi Mansur.
The song has been performed by other artists such as Banda R-15, Knorkator and Milli Vanilli. It is worth mentioning that there were two other interpretations, from the Mexican groups El tren and Banda macho, which occupied the first places of the charts in 1978.
