La Capitale is a regional daily newspaper in the French language that appears in Brussels and Walloon Brabant. It is a newspaper of Sud Presse, a subsidiary of the Groupe Rossel. The other regional newspapers of Sudpresse are:
La Capitale has appeared since 2002 and was the successor to La Lanterne, which was founded in 1944 after the liberation and later was the Brussels edition of La Meuse. The Walloon Brabant edition first appeared in 2011 and was the fourteenth regional edition of Sudpresse.
