Marianne Josephine Zoff (Hainfeld, June 30, 1893 - Vienna, November 22, 1984) was an Austrian actress and opera singer.
Zoff was married to Bertolt Brecht from 1922 to 1928, with whom she received a daughter Hanne Marianne in 1923. Then she married in 1928 with actor Theo Lingen. Daughter Hanne grew up at Zoff and Lingen, and would later succeed as an actress under the artist name Hanne Hiob.
Zoff suffered a high risk before and during World War II, because it was seen as a semi-Jews in accordance with the existing race laws. Theo Lingens popularity as comedy actor, in which he found a fan in Joseph Goebbels, gave her and her daughter protection against the national socialists.
With Theo Lingen, Zoff got another daughter, Ursula Lingen. She also works as an actress. Literature
