Moira Burton (in Japanese Moira Baton (モ イ ラ · バ ー ト ン) is the daughter of Barry and Kathy Burton, sister of Polly Burton, and appears in Resident Evil: Revelations 2 teaming up with Claire Redfield. Biography
Moira was born in 1991 in Raccoon City, where she lived with her family until the incident in 1998
In July 1998, while his father was with the team S.T.A.R.S. On a mission, she and her mother and sister were taken hostage by Albert Wesker, to force Barry to help him eliminate all evidence of the viral outbreak that occurred at Spencer Mansion.
The three were saved when Wesker went into hiding after faking his death. When it became clear that Umbrella now persecuted the surviving members of the S.T.A.R.S; Kathy, Moira, and Polly moved to Canada, while Barry planned to investigate Umbrella with Chris Redfield.
Around 13 years after the events of the first Resident Evil, in 2011, Moira joins TerraSave as a new member because Claire Redfield, her best friend, works for that organization. That same year, TerraSave headquarters was attacked and employees were abducted, including her and Claire, where they were taken to a remote island. Moira is alone in a dark cell with a strange bracelet around her wrist designed to measure fear. She is not alone for long, luckily, Claire soon finds her and surprisingly the door of the cell opens alone. Together they retrace the corridors of the prison, find a knife and a flashlight and take them respectively. Unfortunately, Moira and Claire discover that they are not alone in jail because they are attacked by a strange creature.
