The Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) is an association dedicated to improving the study of urbanism, both as an art and a science, based on social justice and the environment. It was founded in 1899 by Ebenezer Howard as the Garden City Association to promote the urban movement of garden cities.
Activities Among its other activities, the TCPA advises the government on eco-cities in the United Kingdom and has written a series of reports on relevant topics such as transport, water supply, waste management and renewable energies included in the Eco-towns Prospectus publication of the government.
