Fausto Topete Almada (Álamos, 1890 - Mexicali, 1954) was a Mexican military and politician.
Topete moisture from 1913 during the Mexican Revolution on the side of Benjamin Hill. He climbed to General and fought in the 1920s the Mayo and Yaqui Indians. As ally of President Alvaro Obregón he fought in 1923 against De La Huerta Opstand and in 1927 he was elected Governor of his Sonora homeland. In 1929 he joined the plan of Hermosillo, the rebel of General José Gonzalo Escobar. However, the Escobarists were defeated and Topete fled the country. In the 40's he could return. He passed away in 1954.
