Pediment
It is a glacis modeled on rock evenly hard. Its shape is very similar to that of the glacis, but with differences such as the contact with the slope is abrupt, it is called knick and constitutes an erosion notch in a mountainous complex.
The pediments lack remarkable alluvial cover. They occur in desert and subtropical regions with dry season, without it being necessary that there is violent floods, since the rocks alteritas can be evacuated with facility.
