The Party of Republican Union of Mallorca (Purmer) was a political party constituted in Palma de Mallorca in September of 1896 and headed by progressive republican Jeroni Pou i Magraner. Split from the Federal Democratic Republican Party. It arose from the work of this one through Union Republicana in 1893 and managed to group almost all the republican groups of the Balearic Islands. Its organ of press was The Union Republicana (1896-1904). In 1913 it underwent the excision of the Autonomous Party of Republican Union of Mallorca.
