Ronay (in Scottish Gaelic: Rònaigh [rɔːnaj]) is an island located in the group of the Outer Hebrides, in Scotland. The island is located a short distance from the east coast of Grimsay. The name of the island comes from the Old Norse, and means "steep island".

In 1826 the island housed a population of 180 people, but in 1831 the entire population was evacuated in order to clear the island for sheep grazing as part of the Forced Displacement of the Scottish Highlands eighteenth century.

The island has remained uninhabited since the 1920s.
