WhenU is an Internet advertising agency, which carries advertisements to users' computers through programs offered free of charge, such as WhenU.SearchBar. Considered by many as a form of adware, WhenU software is not usually distributed directly to the consumer (unless you download it from your website), but is attached to other programs such as Daemon Tools, Ares Lite, Ares Gold , Twister MP3, BSplayer, among many others. WhenU software is often considered adware or spyware. It is considered unwanted, or a security risk. Some external sources, such as McAfee SiteAdvisor, have labeled WhenU as something "unfair", others say that WhenU software does not comply with its own privacy policy. For its part, WhenU says that its software respects the privacy of its users and that it can be easily uninstalled.
