Econometrica


Econometrica is one of the most important scientific journals in the field of economics, which includes articles on Econometrics and Economic Theory. The magazine is published by the Econometric Society (one of the most important associations of economists in the world, founded in Ohio (USA), through Blackwell Publishing, and its current editor is Daron Acemoglu.

It was published for the first time in 1933. It is usually considered the most important economic magazine, together with the American Economic Review. Between 1988 and 1992 its editor was the Spanish economist Andreu Mas Colell.
