Reversal

Reversal (or inversion) is a musical phenomenon which measures the pitch of a tone instead of from the ground tone to the octave.

If an agreement changes an octave note, chord changes may occur. Three tricks usually have three locations:

Four sounds are known as 4 locations: Reversal of a melody

If a melody is "reversed" (all rising intervals are falling and vice versa), one also speaks of inversion. For example, if you turn in the beginning of Father Jacob, then c-d-e-c becomes c-bes-as-c. This technique occurs in, among other things, baroque music but also in dodecafonie. When the melody is played from back to front, one does not speak of reversal but of 'lobster walk' or 'retrograde'. Reversal in guitar play

It also speaks of reversal of guitar chords when the fingerprint changes. This reversal has nothing to do with the above-mentioned interval reversal.
