Bodegón con frutas, 1659, 82,5 x 65 cm, Amberes, Royal Museum of Fine Arts.
Theodor Aenvanck (Antwerp, 1633 - after 1690) was a Flemish Baroque painter specializing in fruit and flower still life.
Baptized in Antwerp on November 30, 1633, in 1647 appears registered as an apprentice in the guild of St. Luke of his hometown. It seems probable that he was disciple of Jan Davidsz. of Heem, also being accused in his painting the influence of Joris van Son. In 1669 he was registered as an independent teacher in the Antwerp guild, shuffling the possibility that before that date he made a trip abroad, which he could have done again after March 1686 when he left Antwerp without knowing fate. p>
Aenvanck is known for his still life mainly of fruits arranged on a table brought to the forefront and partly covered by a tablecloth with deep folds, on which are baskets, plates and other containers overflowed by the abundant fruits. p>
