Woodland Hills is a western district of Los Angeles, California, United States. It is located in the southwestern part of the San Fernando Valley, and is surrounded by Calabasas to the east, Tarzana to the west, and West Hills, Canoga Park, and Winnetka to the north. The Route 101 (Ventura Expressway) and Ventura Boulevard, which starts in Woodland Hills, goes through Woodland Hills.
This district is considered one of the warmest in Los Angeles, for example in August, maximum average temperatures exceed 38 degrees C (100 F).
