Joaquín Camino Sánchez


Joaquín Camino Sánchez (Camas, province of Seville, November 1943 - Barcelona, ​​June 5, 1973) was a Spanish banderillero and novillero, brother of bullfighter Paco Camino. He began his career in bullfights without picadors in 1961 and with picks in 1963. He made his debut as a bullfighter in the Plaza de las Ventas in Madrid in June 1965, leaving shortly after his pretensions to take the alternative, becoming part of the gang of his brother Paco Camino. In total he acted as a novillero on 65 occasions and was a member of his brother's gang for 7 years. Catching and death

On June 3, 1973, while participating as a subordinate in a bullfight held in the Monumental Bullring of Barcelona, ​​the Curious bull belonging to the ranch of Atanasio Fernández, inflicted 2 very serious corneas at the time of placing the banderillas, as a consequence of the injuries suffered, died two days later, on June 5 at one in the afternoon. He was buried in the town of Camas, very close to Seville, where he has dedicated a street.
