Magón el Brucio was a Carthaginian politician from the 2nd century BC. C.

He gave a prudent speech in the Council of the Hundred of Carthage to the return of the embassy that the Carthaginians sent to Rome in the year 149 a. C. to try to prevent the outbreak of the third Punic war.His nickname comes from Polybius, which has led Jean Schweighaeuser to identify him as the son of Magón el Samnita, official of Hannibal, which would have inherited the nickname, won thanks to his exploits in Italy.
