Ratification

Ratification is the manifestation of will by which a person gives his consent to be reached by the effects of a legal act that, in its origin, does not have sufficient legal power to bind him. The original legal act has been celebrated by the person who gives its ratification, but suffers from a vice that prevents its effects from being established in the celebrant. This vice will have to be of relative nullity, because neither absolute nullity nor non-existence can be remedied by ratification.
