Zarakes (modern Greek: Ζάρακες) is a village in the municipality of Dysties, Euboea, Greece. Its population was 930 as of the last census (2001).

The municipal district of Zarakes includes the village of Zarakes itself and its port, Paralía Zarákon (Zarakes Beach).

In historical periods, Zarakes was called Zaritra or Zaretra (modern Greek: Ζάρετρα or Ζάρητρα). He was renamed from Zarka to Zarakes on July 23, 1953.
