Lonely China Day (Chino: 寂寞. 夏. 日; pinyin: jìmò xià rì), is a indie rock band from China, made in Pekin. Musical career

Also known as the marquee band, they are part of the label "Tag Team Records". His musical style has been compared to that of Sigur Rós, due to the use of his methodology, like monotonous guitars and uninterpreted lyrics in English. The singer Deng Pei, uses in the Mandarin language, drawing some of its letters of the old Chinese poetry. Deng Pei, was a natural left-handed guitarist, but as he was not initially able to locate and acquire a guitar for left-handers, he performed from the opposite side until he suffered an injury to his pinky finger, necessitating a change back to his natural side.

The band made their debut, released an EP under the same name in 2006, followed up with their debut album, entitled "Sorrow", in 2007. Allmusic gave Sorrow a very positive review, such as granting new possibilities members. Reviewer Stewart Mason, said the disc may seem inaccessible to casual listeners.

That same year, Lonely China Day alone performed at the South by Southwest festival in San Agustin, Texas. Members
