Sons of Kyuss is the only recording work of the band of the same name, released in 1990, which would be called Kyuss the following year.
Originally it was published in a limited edition in vinyl, what has turned it in a difficult record to obtain, nevertheless, was reedited in the year 2000 in format CD, although in another limited edition. The following album, Wretch, already as Kyuss, contains some modified versions of the songs of this EP, as well as two taken directly from it ("Deadly Kiss" and "Black Widow").
