Karlsquell is a beer brand belonging to the ALDI Group.
In Germany, it is only Pils in can. Aldi sells "Maternus" pils in plastic bottles, produced in the Martens Brewery in Bocholt. Cans are sold only in Belgium, Poland, Luxembourg, France and Spain. In these countries, there is also a strong beer and a non-alcoholic beer.
Malzbier, variegated and Weizenbier are sold in Germany.
The punk band Karlsquell's song Slime talks about this beer. In the 1980s and 1990s, the brands of Karlsquell and Dortmunder Hansa cans are appreciated by teenagers and punks because of their low price. change the code
