Dr. Rudy Budiman (Semarang, October 12, 1927 - Amsterdam, December 10, 2009) was the first minister of the church Gereja Kristen Indonesia The Netherlands and one of the founders of the Dutch church in the Netherlands. biography
In 1961 he graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. After his studies, he returned to Indonesia to become a minister. In addition, he worked as a teacher at the Theological High School 'Duta Wacana' in Jogjakarta.
Budiman graduated at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam ten years later. Once again he went back to Indonesia to become a Teacher of Theological University in Jogjakarta.
In June 1985 he became the first minister of Gereja Kristen Indonesia The Netherlands. During the 20th anniversary of the church he was appointed a member in the Order of Orange-Nassau. He was editor of 'Overdenkingen' and worked for the church until his death.
