Valentín Elizalde (Navojoa, February 1, 1979 - Reynosa, November 25, 2006) was a Mexican singer.
Elizalde was from the state of Sonora. Elizalde was mostly known as singer of banda and rancherala. Some of his most famous songs are Vete ya, Ebrio de Amor and Soy así. He also sang some narcocorridos.
On November 25, 2006, he was clamped at the end of an action in the border town of Reynosa, and his car was sifted by gunmen by gunmen. Elizalde was hit by 28 bullets and died on site, as well as his driver. The Zetas, employed by the golf cart, are held responsible for the attack. They would have killed Elizalde because on the Internet a movie of a rival cartel was played as a background music by Elizalde.
