Viscometa

Viscometa is a historic brand of auxiliary engines.

Construction and metalworking company Viscometa, The Hague.

This Dutch company of Wim Visser and J.C. In 1948, the Lord constructed a 48cc auxiliary motor mounted above the front wheel of a bicycle. This front wheel was driven by a carborundum roller. In 1950, they were taken out and the plan was to build a new factory in Rijswijk. Then the history becomes unclear. Apparently the construction drawings disappeared without a trace and the prototype was taken to Germany by a Visser relationship to interest a producer. The relationship and the block was not heard anymore. Disappointed, Visser gave a bicycle with a second prototype on it and wanted nothing to do with auxiliary engines.
