Maeda Mitsutaka

Maeda Mitsutaka is a traditional Japanese name; the surname (or school name), Maeda, precedes the first name (or the artist's name).

Maeda Mitsutaka (前 田 光 高) (January 9, 1616 - April 30, 1645) is a daimyo from the early days of Edo, at the head of the Kaga Domain.

By his mother, he is nephew of Tokugawa shogun Iemitsu. Since Iemitsu has no heirs for a while, Mitsutaka is considered a potential heir. If that had happened, he would have become the fourth Tokugawa shogun. Familly change the code Source of translationedit code
