Pierre Fouesnant (Lorient, 1943 - Carqueiranne, November 25, 2009) was a French artist and sculptor.
In 1964 he opened his own workshop for art craft and from the 1970s he started sculpting and exhibited. During his career, Fouesnant worked with various materials, such as bronze, wood, stone and resin, both on a large scale and on a small scale. In 1988 he made "Le monument aux Américains", a bronze artwork of 6.5m high and 10m circumference, 100m in the sea for the city of Saint Nazaire. Fouesnant had his studio in Le Pradet in recent years.
