Monoblock

A monoblock is a satellite receiver receiving head for receiving multiple satellite positions on a 80 to 90 cm satellite dish

A monoblock consists of two feed horns (LNBs), including a box where the signals come together in a DiSEqC switch.

A monoblock is usually required for an 80 cm dish, because the opening angle is not too small and not too large, except for the Duo LNB 60 for Astra 19.2 ° O and Astra 23.5 ° O which specially designed for a 60 cm diameter antenna. The choice of satellite positions to be received is monoblock limited / Monoblocks are almost always made for two close-to-one satellites, for example the Astra 19.2 ° O and Hot Bird (13 ° east) combi.

In order for the monoblock to work properly with the satellite receiver, it must be possible to use the DiSEqC switch in the monoblock, each LNB must be assigned to a separate port, the settings differ by recipient.
