François Charles Octave Martenot of Cordova was a French general born on July 10, 1813 in Mézières, in the Ardennes, and died on July 25, 1868 in Colmar (Haut-Rhin).

He was the eldest son of Colonel-Baron of the First Empire François Martenot of Cordoba and the eldest brother of the Second Empire General Charles Edmond Martenot of Cordoba. Colonel of the 97 regiment of infantry line since April 1856, he was promoted Brigadier General August 12, 1864 and died in service while he was the commander of the subdivision of the Upper Rhine. >
