Monterrey Consensus


The Monterrey Consensus is the result of the International Conference on Financing for Development from 18 to 22 March 2002 of the United Nations (UN) in Monterrey, Mexico. Apart from government delegations, the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the World Trade Organization (WTO) and delegates from private and civil society participated. It constitutes the first conference in which on a margin of the United Nations the financing for the development was discussed. Content
