Kriegsmarinewerft Wilhelmshaven was a shipyard in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, between 1918 and 1945 thanks to the Kriegsmarine had an important naval base there.
It was founded on the grounds of Kaiserliche Werft Wilhelmshaven under the name of Reichsmarinewerft Wilhelmshaven. In 1935 changed the name of the German navy of Reichmarine to Kriegsmarine, with which the name of the shipyards changed also.
In 1945, after the war was over, it was destroyed by the British occupation troops. Curiosities
