The Gods (banda)

The Gods was a British psychedelic rock band, founded in Hertfordshire in 1965, and dissolved in 1970.

True seedlings of English rock, among its members - among others - organist and singer Ken Hensley, drummer Lee Kerslake, and bassist Paul Newton, later members of Uriah Heep, bassist and singer Greg Lake (later in King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer), Jethro Tull bassist John Glascock, or guitarist Mick Taylor, who shone in The Rolling Stones. Ken Hensley's keyboards and vocals, during his career The Gods went on to release two studio albums, and three singles, dissolving into 1970, when Hensley decided to focus on other projects - some of which were simultaneous - such as Toe Fat, group Head Machine, or that would be its main band: Uriah Heep.
