Zefram Cochrane is a character from Star Trek. In this fictional world, Cochrane finds out the warp drive in 2063, with which humanity can finally travel faster than the speed of light. The character Zefram Cochrane comes three times as a person in the Star Trek movies and television series. In 1967, the 'Methamorphosis' episode of the original Captain Kirk series, Enterprise crew met over 150 years of cochrane (played by Glen Corbett) on a planetoid. The Star Trek Enterprise Crew: The Next Generation meets Cochrane as an elderly man (played by James Cromwell) in the first movie featured in 1996, just after he invented the warpdrive. Also in the 2001 Star Trek Enterprise series, he is screened (again played by James Cromwell)

Biography in Star Trek

According to Star Trekcanon, Cochrane was born in Montana in 2032 in the United States, where he found the warp drive in 2063. In recent years, he has been worn on Alpha Centauri, the only galaxy that is colonized by spacecraft with spacecraft, and then disappeared in 2117. In 'Metamorphosis', however, it appears that Cochrane was abducted by a gas-like entity called the 'Companion'. The Companion has rejuvenated Cochrane and immortalized. At the end of the episode, the Companion assumed the form of dying Starfleet negotiator Nancy Hedford.
