Gustav Reiner


Gustav Reiner (June 13, 1959 - Bietigheim, Germany, November 24, 2007) was a German motorcycle driver. biography

Reiner was initially active in construction, but was increasingly focusing on motorsport. His nickname became 'Kamikaze Gustl' because of his reckless driving style and numerous fallouts. At the German motorsports championships up to 500 cc, Reiner proved successful. He won these competitions in 1979, 1986 and 1987. He also won fourth place at the Grand Prix in Spa - Francorchamps in Belgium in 1979. Reiner won well in sixth place in the Grand Prix in Jerez in Spain in 1984.

Reiner had physical complaints for some time and died on heart failure on November 24, 2007 in his hometown of Bietigheim.
