H.P. (Peter) Doebele (Basel, 28 September 1925 - Laren NH, July 9, 2010) was a graphic designer and graphic designer who received his education at the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule in his birthplace.
Doebele joined the Netherlands in 1947 and later became a freelance designer in Amsterdam, where he also taught the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. He worked for various publishers, among other things, in collaboration with Gerard Wernars, posters for The Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. In 2008 he moved to the Rosa Spier House in Laren.
In December 2007 he donated his archive to the Special Collections of the University of Amsterdam.
