The Mishor is a region of the Promised Land, located east of the Dead Sea and Jordan, north of the Arnon. It constitutes a plateau which culminates at 640 m of altitude.
It was occupied in biblical times by the tribes of Ruben (in the south, between Arnon and Jabok) and Gad (in the north).
There were the Nebo and Abarim mountains and the towns of Adom, Sebon, Cariathaim, Bosor and Jaser.
