Frédéric Laloux


Frédéric Laloux (April 4, 1969) is a Belgian politician of the PS, and from March 20, 2008, was a short period of state secretary for poverty reduction in the federal government Leterme of Belgium. On April 19, 2008, he resigned from this post after being called in and the vice president of the PS, Philippe Moureaux, had resigned a week before his resignation.

Laloux is from Jambes and has a training as a real estate broker. He has been City Council member of Namur since 1995, and from 2001 to 2006 he was a ship of sports. He worked for the cabinet of Michel Daerden. He is the manager of the port of Namur, of the Walloon water company, and of the socialist hospital of the arrondissement Namur.
