In the anime it refers to small animations at the end of the episodes or before and after commercial breaks, where some characters behave comically, outside their role or give explanations about the anime, it is very common in these cases that the fourth wall is broken. Also known as Omake are the extra DVDs as interviews with the voice actors, scenes of how the animation was produced, or small OVAs with the characters, in some cases in Chibi style.
In the case of manga, it refers to small images, 4-Koma, cards with information about the characters or their weapons, commentaries of the author or special chapters at the end of the Tankōbon or inserted between the chapters when they are published in it.
