Monsignor José Humberto Paparoni Bottaro (Santa Cruz de Mora (Mérida State), September 3, 1920 - Barcelona, October 1, 1959) was an Italian-Venezuelan religious. He studied at the Seminary of Mérida and at the Seminary of Caracas. He was ordained a priest on April 8, 1944. First Bishop of Barcelona, Venezuela
He was consecrated Bishop on December 7, 1954. He was the founding Bishop of the Diocese of Barcelona. He died on October 1, 1959, after a traffic accident occurred on September 30, at the entrance to the city of Barcelona. Mons. Rafael Arias Blanco and Pbro. Hermenegildo Carli.
