Richard Dawkins
Growing Up in the Universe is a series of lectures, given by evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins, as part of the annual Royal Institution Christmas Lectures and released on DVD and via the Internet in 2007.
The five lectures were given by Dawkins in London in 1991. These lectures were aimed at youth and aimed at making the theory of evolution more accessible to a larger audience. The lectures were broadcast in the UK around the UK on the BBC of that year.

The Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science later received the rights of television broadcasts and were released on DVD by the foundation on April 20, 2007. Later, they were also officially offered in a lower quality on the internet. The lectures last a total of 300 minutes.
