The term sequestration (from Latin: sequestrare = custody, divorce, removal) is included in the Belgian Civil Code. The term sequestration is also used in this context.
In the Belgian Civil Code (namely in Book III, Title XI: How Property Is Acquired) a sex worker is described as a person who uses a form of custody. The sexist is the person who is entrusted with a good or who holds a good deal in a dispute between two parties. This may have been committed in a contract or been enforced.
