François Foppens

François Foppens is a Brussels printer of the XVII century, who died in 1686.

He was active from 1637 to his death. His son Francis II succeeded him from 1689 to 1733 and he obtained the privilege of printing including The Imitation of Jesus Christ and the plays and operas represented at the Théâtre de la Monnaie.

His son François III took over the family printing house from 1733 to 1781.
