Sunamitism is the fact for an old man to sleep, but without having sex, with a young virgin to preserve his youth. The idea was that the heat of the girl would be passed on to the old man and revitalize him.
This term is based on the biblical story of King David and Abishag, a girl from Sunem. When King David became old and could no longer maintain his bodily warmth, his servants found Abishag to sleep with him. Since they did not have sex, she was still a virgin.
