Bayard (motorcycle)

Bayard is a historic Belgian brand of built-in engines and motorcycles.

The Bayard motorcycle brand is almost unknown. According to Paul Kelecom (Paul Kelecom: Monographie des Industries du Bassin de Liège, Industrie du Cycle et de l'Automobile, Paul Kelecom, Liège 1905), it built 1900 to 1905 motorbikes and motorcycles in Herstal.

Before 1900, in Herstal, Henri Pieper's company was produced under the name "Bayard", light motorcycles, cars and pistols. After 1902, when Pieper ended its activities, the Bayard pistols were further produced by other companies.

It may also happen with the motorcycles. In any case, they identified in some reliability rides, such as the Coupe Pile in 1909.
